VALENTINE’S DAY IS LOVE YOURSELF DAY!

ALL WE NEED IS LOVE  I know I know, it’s Valentine’s Day and once again this day has you feeling some kind of way.  Take off that black it’s not a day to morn, put on your pink, red or purple (traditional colors) it’s a day for Self Love.

Since you woke up this morning it’s a day of celebration, show yourself some love. Celebrate the life that you’re living; its rewards, struggles and all the universe has to offer. Be thankful for life and the people in your life. Honey, you should defiantly celebrate the people you kicked to the curb over the last year. Reflect on how life has been since they’re not hanging around!

Just to let you know the grass is not always greener on the other side. We that are married or in a committed relationships feel pressures to prove ourselves through gifts of value which people equate to the volume of our love for our partners.  If you’re under the impression that an expensive gift can prove the volume of love you have for another, go ahead try it and let me know how it works out!

Retail/Society has made us all feel that we must be in a relationship to be a part of this day. Well celebrate because you’re in the best relationship of your life, your relationship with yourself. Come on jump on the band wagon of Love!!  After all you can’t teach anyone else how to love you the way you want to be loved if you don’t know yourself.

VALENTINE’S DAY

SELF LOVE

IS THE BEST LOVE

Interested or not this is how I’m going to do it…. I’ll start my morning by telling my husband that I love him, followed by calling my grandchildren, family and girlfriends expressing my love and how I’m thankful to have them all. Before my day ends I’ll break out the wine and slide right on into the Self Love part of the day.  I’ll plan how I can love myself more over the next year, what I I can do to make my life less stressful and much sweeter! I’m going to explore what it takes to have a healthy heart and good health in general. Next a hot soothing bubble bath followed by slipping into my jammies getting in the middle of the bed with my box of See’s Chocolates while catching up on Oscar Nominated Movies!

Happy Valentine’s Day Sugga!
